Mountain Meadows Massacre Sites

The Mountain Meadows Massacre Sites are not natural wonders, but mark a tragic and suppressed chapter in American history. The largest wagon train massacre - 120 men, women, and children - was staged to look like the work of Native Americans but actually executed by European Americans. The two sites are about 2.25 hours from Las Vegas and also along the drive between Cathedral Gorge and Zion.
